And so it begins - the bowling pin is carving rather nicely. I'm surprised, I expected it to be quite a bit harder.

It's my first attempt at carving flames. If it works out I have a ton of other ideas...I'd like to use them on the sides and back of the maple giant I'm working on...

Thanks - I just wish I had more free time. I get about 5 minutes here and there to work on it...I just want to sit down for 2 hours and have it sanded, polished and finished. The total time on it so far is probably 15 minutes...unacceptable.
