Hello! This is really good, the various sizes are of great help. I have a Dell Inspiron 700m laptop and used the 1280x960 (although screen is 1280x800) and used 1024x768 on the monitor I have attached.

I've been drawing flames for years - probably a little too much...

I use a font creation tool called softy so that all my flames start out as a glyph character. I then basically type it into photoshop and manipulate it until viola...flames.

I have a couple tutorials in my gallery as well as a couple fonts.

having compared this one a bit more closely I feel you have achieved a significant improvement in the basic design of your flames. It is much better than the satin(?) effect you used to use a lot. Also the bevvelling seems a lot tighter, very cool indeed. I'm guessing you're using more blended layers per flame-shape now or something. Love seeing your work evolve and love putting it on my desktops. I've decided my previous comment was a definite understatment, this is infact more than "nice", it is: PHAT COOL!!!

:+fav: (stop making me do that dammit :P)

Oh and I almost dare not ask... but there wouldn't be a 3-piece of this coming out would there? ;D

Ha ha - thanks.

I'm surprised anyone noticed. My flames have definitely evolved over the last 14 months I've been submitting - heck, even the flames from December are notably different. Believe it or not, no 2 wps are made the same. I'm constantly changing how I make them.

Maybe I'll make a triplewide...maybe...

Change is inevitable; progress is optional - You're definitely making progress ;)

The future is one of infinite possibilities and therefore of infinite promises, look forward to seeing what else you will bring us :D

They look great. For some reason, thigns are a little lighter than the original, but that's ok cuz I can't change the lettereing on my display from black.

Are you running 2 displays?

No. I have to crop it so that it'll fit the shape of my display. The part I picked was towards the left of the pic.

These flame wallpapers rock. Especially the multi-monitor ones. I just recently purchases a 17" widescreen laptop, and these wallpapers compliment the Truview displays. Love your Jolly Medallion logos as well. Keep up the great work! :skullbones:

I'm thinking about doing a few widescreens. What's a typical resolution?

Thanks!!! Glad you like them!

Well on my Wide Screen (Dell Inspiron E1705) I have it maxed out at 1920x1200. Hope that helps.

that's just an AWESOME example of a fade you've got here! Smoooooth transition and sharp pinstriping really make this a winner! Well done mate...
